Day 1: Arrive at Jinan (LSD)
Take flight or train to Jinan - the capital of Shandong Province and best known for its hundreds of gushing springs. to Tai'an (80km).
Day 2: Jinan-Qufu-Tai’an (BLD)
Drive 180km south of Jinan to Qufu - hometown of Confucius whose philosophy, known as Confucianism, plays a vital role in the Chinese civilization. We visit the Confucius Family Mansions inhabited by his descendants, the Confucian Forest (Cemetery of Confucius) where the sage and his descendants are berried, and finally the massive Confucius Temple.
In the later afternoon, drive to Tai’an where locates the historic Mt. Tai or Taishan - the most revered of the five sacred Taoist mountains of China, and it has been a great source of inspiration for poets, writers and painters. The UNESCO designated Mt. Tai a World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site In 1982.
Day 3: Leave from Tai'an or Jinan (BL)
Take a cable car to Nan Tian Gate and walk to the summit - Jade Emperor Peak to see a rewarding view of surrounding landscape. We spend the whole morning to exploring the scenic area on top. Ride the cable car descending the mountain. Transfer to the railway station or airport for your next destination. End of tour.
