Feature: in the west suburb of Biru County, located the Duoduoka Celestial Burial Table of Damo Temple and this is also the site of Wall of the Death's head; near Naqu (Nakchu) County, 230km from Lhasa, there locates a valley terrain called as Droma Canyon or Droma Canyon Scenic Area where enriched with greeneries, flowers and waters although at a height of 4700 meters.
Scenery:
Droma Canyon: an exotic flower in North Tibet and a fairyland on the cold tableland that presents a unique beauty;
Namtso: the 2nd largest salt water lake next to Qinghai Lake, clear water let you see the lake bottom easily;
Wall of the Death's head: it decorates the Duoduoka Celestial Burial Table;
Eight Pagodas on grassland: the General Xiaba under King Gesar was buried among the pogodas;
Qiangtang Grassland: one of the five biggest meadows in China, heaven for wild animals, and a rich cultural land as well.
Itinerary:
Day01 Arrive Lhasa
Our guide will meet you at the airport or railway station and make transfer to hotel. Suggested to take a good rest for the remainder of the day to relax and get acclimatized. You are free to walk around the Potala Square and get a panorama view of the Potala Palace and a far-view of Yaowang Mountain. You can arrange your own meals in or around the hotel. Enjoy the night-view of Lhasa. Please do not do strenuous exercise.

Day02 Lhasa-Namtso-Dangxiong (BLD)
We drive 240km north of Lhasa to Dangxiong to visit the Namtso (1940square meters in area), meaning 'Heaven Lake' in Tibetan when they call it as ‘Tengeli Sea’, is the biggest inland lake in Tibet and also the highest salt water lake in the world at a height of 4,718m. The lake sits at north of the Mt. Nyenchen Tanglha (Mt. Nyainqêntanglha), you can see the reflection of the Mountain from the lake. Namtso belongs to the Year of Ram, therefore people would have a pilgrimage around it that year. The lake's water comes from the glaciers of Mt. Nyenchen Tanglha, and is one of the very few northern Tibetan lakes that have not yet shrunk or alkalized. The bottom of the lake is easily seen.

Day03 Dangxiong-Droma Canyon-Naqu (BLD)
Visit the Droma Canyon Scenic Area at a height of 4700m, called as an exotic flower in North Tibet and a fairyland on the cold tableland, which presents a unique beauty in front of you. We proceed to Naqu.
Overnight in Naqu.
Day04 Naqu-Qiangtang Grassland-Biru (the Wall of the Death's head)-Naqu (BLD)
Today we visit the Qiangtang Grassland in North Tibet. Proceed to Biru to visit the site of the Wall of the Death's head which decorates the Duoduoka Celestial Burial Table of Damo Temple.
Overnight in Naqu.
Day05 Naqu-8 Pagogas on grassland-Yambajan-Lhasa (BLD)
Along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway we drive back from Naqu to Lhasa, in the section between Naqu and Dangxiong, there stand erect 8 pagodas in the vast grassland, said that a hero named Xiaba, who was a general of King Gesar, was buried here for his braveness. Herdsmen of the grassland come to pilgrimage from dozens of kilometers away on 15th and 30th of each month on Tibetan calendar. We visit Yambajan before we drive back to Lhasa.
Overnight in Lhasa.
Day06 Leave Lhasa (B)
Transfer to airport or train station. End of tour.

Travel tips in Tibet:
Road analysis:
The National Highway from Lhasa to Naqu and the Provincial Highroad from Naqu to Biru are in good condition. The road is usually dry without much rain. There are no disasters like mud-rock flow but with much blown sand, feel cold. There is nilas in winter time.
Sea level:
1. Namtso: 4700m
2. Biru: 4000m
3. Naqu: 4500m
4. Yambajan: 4000m
Special reminder:
1. Permitted before taking pictures at the Wall of the Death's head as there is special meaning for the site;
2. Be careful about Tibetan Mastiff around the Qiangtang Grassland as it is the homeland for the local herdsman;
3. Namtso sea level is higher, traveler may have altitude sickness. Please bring your own medications.
Remarks 1:
1. Tibet entry permit is necessary for foreign travelers;
2. Traveler's name, gender, nationality, age, occupation (reports and diplomats are not allowed to enter), passport number are needed to apply for the Tibet entry permit;
Remarks 2:
1. Travelers with high pressure or heart disease are inadvisable to go to Tibet. Please do not bring your bad cold when you enter Tibet;
2. Tibet is on plateau, most travelers may have altitude press more or less. As long as you take a good rest and suitable bite and sup (please do not eat too much to burden your stomach), you would overcome it;
3. Please do not leave from the group. Be safe and secure. Please deposit your valuables at the reception and do not leave it in your room;
4. Please do not go out alone especially at night. Be sure to come back before 12:00 mid-night to avoid a late wake-up for next day's tour;
5. There could be not-in-time meals due to the long trip on vehicle. Please bring some cookie or snack with you;
