Visa Requirements
Canadian passport holders
All passengers traveling to China are required to have a visa prior to entering the country. The number of entries will depend on which tour you decide to join.
Single entry visa ($50 per person + service fees from the Centre)
If you join in a tour that does not include Hong Kong or juse exit from Hong Kong, you are only required a single entry visa.
Double entry visa ($75 per person + service fees from the Centre)
If you join in a tour that does include Hong Kong, you are required a double entry visa because once you enter Hong Kong, you are considered leaving Mainland China. A second entry is needed to continue your tour from Hong Kong to Mainland China.
Visa application procedures
The Chinese Visa Application Service Center provides visa services in visa, passports, travel documents, notarization and authentication of documents which are intended to be used in China., and need our assistance in obtaining Chinese visa, please send your passports by secure mail service or deliver them to our office. We charge $40 service fee per visa application on top of regular visa fee and service fee from the Center.

Basic notes:
1. The valid passport must have at least six months of remaining validity with enough blank visa pages;
2. One complete Visa Application Form signed by the applicant;
3. One recent color passport photo, showing a full front view of the applicant's head and shoulders without head covering. Please check with your local professional photographer for standard type;
4. The visa must be used within a 3-month period (90 days) or else it will expire. An individual visa is only good for to 30 days after your date of entry into China.
5. After the applicant enters China, if his/her actual length of stay is longer than the visa given, he/she must apply for extension of stay at the local public security bureau before his/her visa expires. The applicant will be fined or subjected to other penalties if he/she stays beyond the specified date.
