Oct25 Day 1: Depart Canada
Your journey begins with the overnight transpacific flight. Cross the International Date Line.

 

Oct26 Day 2: Arrive Shanghai
Upon arrival in late afternoon, meet our guide and transfer to the hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore this city.

Oct27 Day3: Shanghai (BLD)
Today we visit The Bund - a waterfront promenade famous for its landmark neoclassical buildings of European style,Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Museum. Evening entertainment is a dazzling acrobatic show.

 

Oct28 Day4: Shanghai –Wuhan/Yichang- Yangtze River Cruise (BLD)
Morning flight to Wuhan/Yichang, board the deluxe cruise ship starting to catch every splendid and amazing moment. (B/L/D)

Oct29 Day 5 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD)
After a brief introduction to the Cruise, a shore excursion at Sandouping takes you to “Three Gorges Dam”, the biggest hydroelectric dam in the world. Return to the ship and sail through the Three Gorges Dam Shiplocks. You will also pass the first gorge - Xiling Gorge, the longest and historically the most hazardous one in the famous “Three Gorges”. Tonight, you have a Captain’s Welcome Party, followed by a Crew Cabaret Show.

 

Oct31 Day 6 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD)
Begin your day with an excursion to Shennong Stream taking you almost 20 miles to see cascading waterfalls, steep cliffs, karst caves, three-colored springs, and an amazing array of fish, birds, and monkeys as they play near the water’s edge. Return to the ship and continue sailing through the second gorge, Wu Gorge - known for its odd, misty rock formations and its backdrop of soaring mountains; and the third gorge, Qutang Gorge - the shortest but the most dramatic of the Three Gorges with ancient relics scattered along its steep cliffs. Tonight you have a spirited Crew Cabaret Show.

 

Nov1 Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD)
Morning after arriving in Fengdu, a shore excursion to the “Ghost City” – known for its statures of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill.

 

Nov2 Day 8 Chongqing -Guilin-Yangshuo (BLD)
Disembark at Chongqing, a famous mountain city in China. Visit Chongqing Zoo seeing lovely Pandas and an old preserved section of Chongqing. Fly to Guilin drive to Yangshuo. a medium-sized city whose name means "forest of sweet osmanthus trees".

Nov3 Day 9: Yangshuo (BL)
Morning cruise on Lijiang River –about 1and half hours to see the best scenic area of the Lijiang River. And then we go to Silver Cave. Free in the evening. Take your own dinner at the famous Xijie Street.

 

Nov4 Day10: Yangshuo-Guilin-Xi’an (BLD)
Morning drive to Guilin and visit scenic Elephant Trunk Hill. Late afternoon fly to Xi’an .

Nov5 Day11: Xi'an (BLD)
Today we visit Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors and Horses MuseumMausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang (the first Emperor of Qin), Mauseleum-site Park of of Emperor Qin Shihuang,Museum of Acrobatics Figures (Baixi Yong) and Museum of Stone Loricae, located about 30km east of Xi'an.

 

Nov6 Day 12: Xi'an-Beijing (BLD)
Morning city tour includes the Ancient City Wall and Old Street. Take evening train to Beijing.
Accommodation: On the soft sleeper train over night

 

Nov7 Day 13: Beijing (BLD)
Arrival in the morning. Today we visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. From there you enter The Forbidden Cityto see the 250-acre complex of palaces, pavilions, courtyards and gardens. visit to the Summer Palace, a royal resort during the Qing Dynasty.

Nov8 Day 14: Beijing (BLD)
We drive 70km northwest of the city for a full-day excursion to the Great Wall, the world's longest man-made structure, stretching over 6,352 km (3,948 miles). On the way back we tour exterior of the "Bird’s Nest" and “Water Cube” where hosted the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

 

Nov9 Day15: Beijing (BLD)
Morning sightseeing at the Temple of Heaven. After lunch we tour Beijing Hutong by rickshaw to see traditional residential courtyards. 


Nov10 Day 16: Beijing-Home (B)
Bid farewell as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight home.
